Usage & Analytics

We use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to collect non-identifying data like page views, approximate location (based on IP), device/browser type, and on-site interactions. We use this to improve performance and features.

Device & Log Data

Our servers may record standard logs (IP address, user-agent, referrer, timestamps, error logs) for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.

Local Storage (on your device)

To power features like Favorites, Watchlist, recently watched, and viewing preferences, we store data in your browser (e.g., localStorage, IndexedDB, cookies). You can clear this anytime via your browser settings.

Content & Streaming Providers: Some features load data or media from third parties such as TMDB (metadata), YouTube (trailers), and Vidsrc/other embedders (streaming). These services may set their own cookies or collect data per their policies.

6) Data Security & Retention

Emails, subscription status, and support messages (if any) are retained as long as needed for service, legal, or security reasons, then deleted or anonymized.

Account deletion: If your membership is managed by a third-party provider, request cancellation/deletion through that provider; we'll receive the update and remove related access on our side. You may also contact us to request deletion of any information we directly control.

Cartoonly does not host or store copyrighted videos. Streaming and trailers may be embedded from external providers.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of third-party services. Copyright concerns about embedded media should be addressed to the original hosting provider.
